ARM LIFT
Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)
This procedure removes loose skin and excess fat deposits in the upper arms, that is typically caused by aging or extreme loss of weight.
An incision is made on the inside of the upper arm to remove the excess skin. The sutures will be placed in a special manner to relieve stretching tension in the top layer of the skin. In some cases an additional quadrangular skin flap has to be removed underneath the arm pit, a method that is also used in cases of mild skin excision.
After surgery a compression garment will be applied around the arms and has to be worn for 3-4 weeks. Scarring will be more or less visible.
