Breast Augmentation by inconspicuous scar in the armpit

Breast implants come in many different shapes, sizes and textures. The shell of the implant is always made of silicone . We use only textured implants , as we experienced that they lower the chances of a later capsular contracture (capsular fibrosis). The implants are filled with either saline or silicone gel.

The implants can be inserted into the body through a small incision made on the underside of the breast at the inframammary fold, or an incision made on the lower edge of the areola, (the circular pigmented area surrounding the nipple), or through the axillary method. We prefer the axillary method, as it leaves a scarless breast . The sutures are placed inwardly so that they will not leave any marks . More over we take precautions to avoid a later capsular contracture. The placement of the implants can be either above or below the pectoral muscle and has to be individually determined in a personal consultation with the surgeon.

Also if you have the condition to where one breast is larger than the other, this can be balanced out with different sized implants.

As far as health risks, caused by breast implants are concerned, no surgical method has ever been more vehemently and almost hysterically criticized, than breast augmentation. Reported mishaps could always be traced back to the use of cheap quality implants or to an unskilled performance.

Any surgical method can lead to health problems if it is performed by unskilled hands.
